Mafalda A. McCafferty, age 87, of Hackettstown died Monday, June 1, 2020 at Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, Newton, NJ.  Mafalda was born August 31, 1932 in Dover, NJ to the late Pasquale and Enpichetta (Ertissi) Ricciotti.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her three brothers, Vincent, Nicolas and Frank Ricciotti and a sister, Amelia Toscano.

She was employed by Picatinny Arsenal as an Administrative Assistant for many years before she retired.  Mafalda loved riding horses and was an avid golfer.  In addition she was a former parishioner of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Dover, NJ.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Mary O’Dwyer, Nancy Miller, a brother, Robert Ricciotti and wife MaryAnn, her nieces, Peggy O’Dwyer-Faltin and husband Richard, Joanne Dalebout and husband Michael, Maryann Lally, Leona Defeo and husband Raymond, nephews, Michael Toscano and wife Helen, Louis Toscano, Vincent Ricciotti, Nicholas Ricciotti and wife Agnes, Patrick Ricciotti and Edmund O’Dwyer.
