On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, Celeste M. Martone-French, a loving wife, daughter, mother, and friend to all passed away surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of her home. She was 53 years old.

She has lived in Hackettstown, NJ for the last 25 years and always considered this home and the perfect place to raise her family. Celeste was an amazing mother to her girls and all the people she took under her wing. She fought a hard battle with cancer every day for the past 2 1/2 years to be able to spend as much time as she could with her loved ones.

Celeste will always be remembered as kind, hard working, fiercely determined and a courageous fighter. Her genuine soul and welcoming spirit will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband, Donald French, her children, Julianne, Samantha, Andrew, and Emma, her parents, Kenneth Krug and Alice Chrobak, and her brothers, Travis Krug and Anthony Furcillo. She is now with her recently deceased daughter, Alexis.

The celebration of life will be held on October 9, 2022, at the Independence Firehouse in Independence Twp, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who are able to make a donation in her name to John Theurer Cancer Center of Hackensack Hospital or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
