Judith L. Mastriani, 79, Long Valley, New Jersey passed away on May 19, 2022 at the House of Good Shepherd in Hackettstown New Jersey.
She was born at the Presbyterian Hospital in Newark, New Jersey on July 6, 1942 to the late Robert and Dorothy Hopkins.
Judy graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1960 and worked at NJ Bell Telephone Company. Judy Married Robert Mastriani in 1964 moving to Parsippany New Jersey and
finally settling in Long Valley, New Jersey in 1968 for the past 54 years.
While in Long Valley, New Jersey, she belonged to the Woman’s Club, worked for the town, worked as a school cafeteria worker, and worked as a book keeper for the family business, REM
Judy’s pride and joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. Her fondest memories were being outdoors, taking vacations and taking morning walks on the beach with her family.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Hopkins and her in laws, Elvin and Nancy Mastriani. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert E. Mastriani of 57 years, her
children, Paul Mastriani of Effort, Pennsylvania, Rich Mastriani (wife Karen) of Long Valley, New Jersey, Tara Henderson (husband Steve) of Hopatcong, New Jersey, and her six grandchildren Abby, Trey, Maegan, Matthew, Janie and Riley. Also surviving are sister Patricia Scro (husband Carmen) of Stillwater, New Jersey, and brother-in-law John Mastriani (wife Linda) of Sparta, New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews.
Private cremation services are under the direction of Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street in Hackettstown, New Jersey. A celebration of Judy’s life will be scheduled for a later date.
