McCann, Eleanor January 23, 1959 - January 27, 2021

Eleanor “Ellie” K. McCann, 62 of Belvidere, formerly of Hackettstown died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at home with her family at her side.

Ellie was born in Morristown, NJ a daughter of Marie (Madison) Lehman and the late Robert Lehman.

She had been an insurance agent for the Stuber Agency in Hackettstown. Ellie was an active member of  Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church in Great Meadows.

As a cook Ellie was best known for her stuffed shells, when the Hackettstown Fire Department had an event Ellie’s shells were usually on the menu.

Ellie  enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She made Christening outfits, booties and blankets and her greatest joy was to give them away.

In addition to her mother Marie Lehman, she is survived by her beloved husband Kevin A. McCann, a son, Kevin.Jr. and his wife Maria 2 daughters, Colleen Broadus and her husband Cody and Beth McCann.. Also her sisters, Sharon Ferrier, Nancy Blake and Tracey Bardyszewski and her dear grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie, Mike, Ray, Stephan, Kevin III, Kayden and Kayzen.

Friends may call on Tuesday February 2nd from 4 – 8 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home 905 High Street Hackettstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am on Wednesday, February 3rd at Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church in Great Meadows, NJ.

Interment will be private.
