Samuel McGill Jr. 68, of Hackettstown, New Jersey passed away on December 18, 2010. He was born to Samuel McGill Sr. (Past Jan. 23, 1961) and Sally (Marco) Mcgill Past Feb. 11, 1988)

Due to the amount of traveling by his parents and 7 siblings he never attended any type of schooling or education. Instead he was taught how to work at a very young age. Grown but still living with family, Samuel met Pidegi Lilly Thompson Nicholas Thompson they remained together for 12 wonderful years.

During their marriage, they were Blessed with three wonderful children – two sons and one daughter, Anthony, Pauline and Nicholas. As life would have it Samuel and Pidegi, traveled to many locations during their time together. Due to the amount of traveling their three children as well did not have the opportunity to attend school. Instead Pidegi, took the role of teacher to her children. Due to life struggle both Samuel and Pidegi made a decision to separate, Pidegi kept the three children, becoming a single parent in the 70’s.

Samuel moved on and remarried several additional times, having two additional children, one Daughter Brittany and one son Terry, with their mother Tammy.

Later as life would have it, both his older sons reunited with their father. Samuel was the kind of man that “Played Hard and Worked Hard” his older sons were able to witness that. He also got to meet with his older daughter, Pauline. As time went on however his children with Pidegi, became estranged from Samuel. He remained with his third wife and 2 children until his death.

Samuel is survived by former wife Pidegi Thompson McGill, their Son Anthony Mcgill, former wife Norma Jean Evans and Grand Daughter Jennifer Wells Evans. His Daughter, Pauline and husband Leo Nefedro , Grandchildren Stevie and wife Shanna Nefedro, Great Grandchildren Tabitha, Chloe, Penelope, Grandchild Gino and wife Julie Nefedro, Great Grand Step Son Matthew. Granddaughter Vanessa and husband Paulie, Great Grand Daughters Chaz and Bella, Dave and wife Twiggy. Son Nicholas and former wife Gina, Grandsons Eric and Moses. From 3rd wife Samuel is survived by his Daughter Brittany and Son Terry. Brothers David (Frenchy) McGill, Robert (Bingo) McGill and Frank (David) McGill. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Samuel was preceded in death by Brothers Steve (Harts) McGill and Edward (Fish) McGill. Sisters Pauline McGill and Shirley Mcgill.

Due to undisclosed circumstances there will be no visitation, Burial will be at Pequest Union Cemetery, Hackettstown, NJ. Dec. 22, 2010 at 2:00pm. All Arrangements will be taken care of by Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. 07480 (908) 852-3361.
