Ora Jane Bauer, age 90, of Hackettstown formerly of Parsippany, NJ and The Villages, FL died Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. Ora Jane was born November 26, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY to late James and Petronilla Kirchner Haddock. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Stephanie Margolin, her two sisters, Helen and Janet and her son in law, Christopher Margolin.

Ora was previously employed by Sami Mamoun, MD, Roseland, NJ as an Office Manager, prior to that she was a Registered Nurse in the Maternity Department of St. Claire’sHospital, Denville, NJ for 10 years. She was an active member of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary church, Hackettstown and St. Peter’s Church, Parsippany where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and in their Rosary Altar Societies. Ora was avid reader, enjoyed boating ,bowling and a die-hard Yankees fan.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Vincent Bauer, her two daughters, Audrey Margolin, Diane Baldini and husband Michael, a son Wayne Bauer and wife Donna, two grandsons, TJ and Jay Margolin, 6 great grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Arianna, Cameron, Chase and Caden Margolin.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Church Of The Assumption Of The Blessed Mary, 305 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father Antony Arockiadoss officiating. Burial will follow in Stanhope Union Cemetery, Stanhope.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 3 pm – 7 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
