Justin we love you. To his sweet little boys we love you and thanks to your mommy we get to watch you grow. You both look so much like your daddy as a little boy. Your dad was a good man. All of lthe cousins loved hanging out with him. I really see him in you both and believe you both will grow up to be as great as him. I’m sorry your time was short lived with him but I guarantee he loved you both soooo much.. I love you and enjoy watching grow up. Love Shawnte and family🥰💯

    JD,
We started out as bestfriends then moved onto husband/wife to parents of two beautiful boys. You may be gone physically but you will always be with us in spirit and deep in our hearts. For the remainder of my life, I will always look at Kayden & Trevor and see you within them. I pray that you are now at peace and watching down on us and all of your loved ones. This is not goodbye for us but a see you later. I will always have a special love for you.

    Love always,
    Carrie

JD was always there for me growing up, giving me his wisdom and knowledge upon life. But I mostly remember him being so funny and full of life and love for anyone around him. We may not have had a relationship as I grew up. But I know he always kept me in his thoughts and his heart, as I always will keep him in my heart and mind.

JD I know it was a while that we hadnt seen each other, but i remember us hanging out with the clan everyday. Always laughing together with your hearty laugh and amazing smile us all playing metallica rock band religiously watching whatever and all of us doing whatever we pleased as long as we were together. You were a true friend through and through i miss you so much even before i found out about what had happened. You gave me my first tattoo ever and ill always have a piece of you forever. Although you were taken from us too early i know your up in heaven with steph and mom watching over all of us it sucks to be so far away now but know i still love you and i will forever miss you my friend. 💜💜💜

To me JD was a neighbor, friend and a brother, we hanged out alot, when he lived next door id open the window “Yo jd madden” he always said yeah give me 5 minutes and i’ll be over. I always enjoyed his company, if i was having a bad day JD would say something and it would turnout to be a great day, when my mom passed away he was there for me and my family, JD would turn our sadness into joy with him hanging out with us. JD and i went on alot of fishing trips together we neither walked there, drove to peoples houses and knocked on there door if they had a pond or lake on there property, kayaked or walked streams, catfished with headlamps on or went deep fish fishing in the ocean, i always went to his place where he lived and hanged out for the weekend, i enjoyed every weekend i spent time with him. Jd always made me smile or laugh it didnt matter what we did it was always a good time,
God has gained an angel, Rest in Heaven my dude. Love AJ

Justin, I was lucky enough to meet you briefly as a nurse caring for you over the summer. I was with you the night you learned of your mother’s passing, and although you were in an immense amount of pain, I remember you told me you stayed up all night praying, and were able to eventually find a sense of peace. You brought so much joy to the community here, to both peers and staff. Whether you were giving out hair cuts, drawing fake tattoos/ designs, or cracking jokes, people loved being around you, and were inspired by the strength and hope you shared with all. You persisted through so much pain in this life, and I can only hope that now you are once again at peace. You gave us one of your drawings before you left; a cross with the words “Newly Born” written across it. It is my sincerest hope that you are now Newly Born, free from pain and sorrow. Thank you for improving the lives of more people than you will ever know during your short time on this earth.
