John H. Peters, III, age 67, of Hackettstown died Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at home. John was born July 17, 1957 in Denville, NJ to the late John H. and Carolina (Young) Peters, Jr.
He was previously employed by Elastimold, Hackettstown, NJ as Molder retiring several years ago. John was an avid outdoorsman, in his younger years he was a boy scout. John loved fishing and enjoyed gardening.
John is survived by two sisters, Holly Huff and husband Walter; Alyson Halvac and husband Andrew. Several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 7 at Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Mountain Avenue, Hackettstown, N.J. with Rev. Donald Gebhard officiating.
