Prystash, Jr., Daniel T. January 31, 1951 - October 11, 2022

Daniel T. Prystash, Jr., 71 of Hackettstown, NJ (Allamuchy Township) passed away on October 11, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Daniel was born on January 31, 1951 in Cannonsburg, Pa to Daniel T. Prystash, Sr. and A. Jayne Bodnar. Daniel married Kathleen Henderson on February 13, 1971.

Daniel graduated from Milton College and attended Farleigh Dickinson University. He was employed in the telecommunication/information technology industry for over 25 years. Then followed his passion for education and coaching for another 10 years at North Warren Regional High School, Blairstown, NJ prior to his retirement.

Between his time at work and spending time with his family, Daniel also served on the Allamuchy Town Council. Some of Daniel’s fondest memories were spent at WDW with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchild.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathleen Prystash of Allamuchy, NJ, his son, Jason Prystash and his wife Jen of Magnolia, De, daughter, Danielle Prystash of Allamuchy, NJ, six grandchildren, Keara, Nate, Emma, Marisa, Serena and Chloe, as well as his great granddaughter, Brielle.

He is predeceased by his parents and stepmother, Bernice Prystash.

At the request of the family all services will be private.
