She was the daughter of the late Arthur Albert and Lillian Emma (Haberman) Schott. Pauline is survived by 2 daughters; Karen Dughi and Diane Walton with Husband Chester Walton, 5 grandchildren: Brian Dughi with Partner Paula Schmitzer, Linda Dughi, Jessica Walton with fiancée Marc Mullen, Jeremy Walton & Joshua Walton, 3 Great Grandchildren: Jayden Mullen, Rileigh Walton & Rhyan Walton, brother Arthur Schott and sister Helen Steer.
She was predeceased by husband Kenneth J. Robbins in 1982 and 6 sisters Lillian Brentnell, Eleanor Manning, Vera Banghart, Mildred Henderson, Alice Ackley, and Viola McGowan.
Pauline was a 1942 Roxbury High School graduate. She worked at Hercules Powder Co until 1956 then becoming a mother and homemaker. She also worked at McGreagors and Dover hand Bag. She lived in Budd Lake and Hackettstown, NJ before moving to Bangor PA with Diane and Chester to help take care of their 3 children.
She belonged to the camping club “The Potlock Ramblers” of Hackettstown NJ from 1965 to 2011. She was a member of “The Church of the Mystic Light” in Bartley NJ before becoming a member of the Wharton United Community Church” in Wharton NJ and helping with their Vacation Bible School.
She was known as the “Cookie Lady” for her famous cut out cookies she baked for the Balloon Festivals, Vacation Bible School and all her family and friends.
Services will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 10:00am at Cochran Funeral home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840. A precession to Pequest Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wharton Community Church or charity of your choice in her name.
