Roberts, David Timothy July 3, 1958 - July 15, 2023

David Timothy Roberts, Timmy, as he was lovingly known by his family, age 65, of Boonton, NJ died Saturday, July 15, 2023 at his home in Boonton.  Tim was born July 3rd, 1958 in Passaic, NJ. He was the son of the Judith (Schouten) Cassells and the late John Cassells
Tim was employed by Inglesino, Webster, Wyciskala, and Taylor, LLC as a Bookkeeper. Tim also worked for the New Jersey State Organization of Cystic Fibrosis located in Totowa NJ, and the Mountain Lakes Board of Education as an Accountant. Timmy was an avid golfer, culinary master, and expert of potato salad along with his son, Travis.  He enjoyed traveling, night swimming, and spending time with his loving family.
He is survived by his mother, Judith (Schouten) Cassells, daughter, Tara Roberts and boyfriend Christopher Dean, son, Travis Roberts and girlfriend Kori Pruett, brother, Ron Roberts and wife Michelle, two sisters, Susie Cassells, Kimberly Krauss and husband Glen, nieces and nephews, Justin Cassells, Nicholas Roberts, Alexandria Roberts, Cassidy and husband Nolan Reinhardt, Brielle Krauss, great nieces and nephews, Kinnley and Micah Reinhardt, and his cherished cats, Bella, Kush, and Harley
The funeral will be held at 7:30 pm on Thursday, July 20, at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 20 from 4 – 8 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

    My deepest condolences to you and your family for your loss. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I’m a firm believer that when we lose someone close to us, like a father, they continue to live on through us and give us unbelievable strength. They’re so connected to us that they become a part of us. He will truly be missed at Inglesino’s firm.

    We, too, are heartbroken. Timmy was a gracious and fun-loving guy who always made us laugh! His passing leaves a hole in so many hearts.

    We are soo sad to hear of Tim’s passing. We loved working with Tim. At the company BBQ’s he was always the cooking master. Such an overall great person to know. Tim helped me land made me laugh and happy even when it was my last day at the security company. Our thoughts are with you all.

    Dearest Tim, my heart broke when I heard of your passing. You were such a great spirit! May God guide your family through the toughest of times and allow them healing and comfort in your memory. I wish I would have known you were from Passaic — we could have chatted up even more great conversations. ;O) God called you home because you were built for greater things. May you rest in God’s grace and in everlasting peace, friend and colleague. You will be missed.
