On August 5th, we will be celebrating the life of our beautiful mother, Mary Ann Rustia. To all her family and friends we would love for you and your family to join us in the services.
Mary Ann Rustia, age 85, of Hackettstown, NJ passed on Friday, July 28, 2023 at home. Mary Ann was born May 14, 1938, to the late William J. and Marion C. (Robinson) Grumbach.
Mary Ann was employed as a Social Worker for Sussex County Social Services for many years before her retirement. She had a personality that made her the perfect leader in her profession, she loved helping people, whether she knew you or not. Mary Ann was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was dedicated to her family, they will miss her very much.
She is survived by her three daughters, Ann-Marie Pahoulis and husband Ioannis, Catherine Rustia , Bernadette Rustia-Butler, her two sisters, Marguerite Denci and husband Michael, Christine Grumbach-Stoneman and husband Daniel, three grandchildren, Anna Pahoulis, Matthew Pahoulis, Thomas Butler, two great grandchildren, Gabriel Tranchetti and Sophia Pahoulis
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 1:30 pm on Saturday, August 5 at Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary, 305 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father Leo officiating. Cremation is private.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 5 from 11 am – 1 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
For those desiring donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial & Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 in memory of Mary Ann.
