Margaret J. Scott, 65 of Lehman Twp., PA died Sunday March 28, 2021 at the Lakeview Rehab and Nursing facility in Wayne, NJ.
Born in Jersey City, NJ she was a daughter of the late Leon and Jessie (Aitken) Burckard. Margaret worked as a food demonstrator at area Shop-Rite Supermarkets, most recently in Mansfield, NJ.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Robert F. Scott, Jr., a son, Brian Scott and daughters, Melissa and Vanessa Scott. Also, brothers Duke Burckard and his wife Kathy, Richie Burckard and his wife Gail and Bobby Burckard. She also leaves nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs Lucy and Jessie.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her sisters, Joyce Streker and Lorraine Dunn.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday March 31st from 4 – 8 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home 905 High Street Hackettstown, NJ. A funeral service will take place at 7:30 pm during the visitation.
Entombment will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
