Yasmin Cheryl Sherman, age 66, of Hackettstown passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Cheryl was born November 16, 1958 in London, England to the late Patrick and Mary (Cripps) Roche.
Cheryl was formerly employed by Shoprite, Mansfield, NJ as a Pharmacy Technician.
Above all, Cheryl loved spending time with her family and being the best Nanny to her grandchildren. She could also be found enjoying a walk or bicycle ride around local parks or poolside enjoying the summer sunshine. Cheryl was also proud to have become a US Citizen.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Gary Sherman, her four daughters, Erikka Bahnuk and husband Mark, Lee Bowdler and husband Evan, Sydney Sherman and partner Jason Chesla, Shelby Sherman, a step son, Gary Sherman, Jr. and wife Breanne, granddaughter and grandson, Jaden and Mitchell Sherman, grandson, Colten Chesla, granddaughters, Harper and Hazel Bahnuk; grandson and granddaughter, Jackson and Charlotte Bowdler.
At the request of the family all services were private and handled under the direction of the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
