Sitarski, Clara Carolyn November 2, 1925 - January 21, 2021

Clara Carolyn Sitarski (nee Cieszynski), age 95 of Panther Valley, Allamuchy, NJ returned to the Lord on January 21, 2021. Born on November 2, 1925, she grew up in Lyndhurst, NJ. After graduating from High School, she worked as an Executive Assistant at Worthington Pump Company, where dear friends introduced her to her soon-to-be husband, Alfred W. Sitarski by whom she was pre-deceased in 2012.

Clara is survived by two Daughters, Susan Sitarski-Sturm and Cynthia Sitarski-Sommer, and two grandchildren, James and Allison Sommer.

The family made Rutherford, NJ their home in 1954 and moved to Panther Valley in 1981. During her adult life, Clara greatly enjoyed being a loving wife, great Mom and host, entertaining many gatherings of family and friends. She always looked forward to vacationing at the family’s summer home in East Dennis, Cape Cod. She was also a member of the Panther Valley “Friends and Neighbors” where she proposed beautiful Christmas decorations on the light posts entering the community, a tradition that continues to go on to this day.

Clara wished to remain in her home in Panther Valley as she aged. The family is so very grateful to neighbors and friends who so generously helped the family accommodate Mom’s wishes.

A private funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at stjude.org or The American Heart Association at heart.org.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.cochranfuneral.com/
