Ivy Sookhoo age 94 died on Tuesday July 16, 2024.  She was born on May 23, 1930 in Clonbrook, Guyana.  She is the daughter of the late David and Hanna Samaroo.  She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Sookhoo on  Sept. 17, 2021.

She is survived by her children: Norman & Nan Sookhoo, Richard & Pauline Sookhoo, Annie & Leonard Bridgmohan, Eunice & Lloyd Satnarine, Rayman & Laleeta Sookhom and daughter in law: Leila Sookhoo. Ivy is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Ivy was predeceased by her husband Cecil Sookhoo and son Charles Sookhoo.

Calling hours will be Friday, July 19, 2024 from 4 – 8 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J..

The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church Of Hackettstown, 298 Main Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840.  Cremation will be held privately.
