Muriel J. Stellingwerf, age 96, was born January 16, 1929 in Jersey City, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Cecil and Dorothy (Brunning) Kuver.

Muriel graduated from Tenafly High School and then attended Berekley Secretarial School.  She began her career at Mack Trucks in New York City.  She retired in 1993 from the International Group as an administrative assistant to the CEO.

She enjoyed traveling, knitting, gardening, counted cross stitch, playing Scrabble and being social with everyone.

Muriel was pre deceased her husband Roy Stellingwerf, son Roy Stellingwerf, Jr., sister, Doris Stellingwerf, and son in law, Peter Bianco.

She is survived by 2 Daughters, Susan Stellingwerf and fiancé Kevin Bluett, Ellen Bianco, 4 Grandchildren, Scott Todd, Matthew Todd, Kimberly Todd, Paige Bianco, 4 Great- Grandchildren, Spencer Davis, Logan Todd, Jaclynn Todd, and Lincoln Todd.

Calling hours will be Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 1:00pm -5:00pm with a funeral service starting at 4:30pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840.
