The mom of my best friend Kathy. I knew Betty well. A lovely, caring, thoughtful and beautiful person. I have many memories over the years especially when I was a young mom and Kathy and I were raising our young children together as neighbors.. My daughters Janine and Heather knew her well also and there was a time that she actually cared for them while I was in nursing school. They were sad to learn of her passing. Her kindness will never be forgotten. I feel very lucky to have known her. May she rest in peace. My deepest condolences to the entire family.

God received a beautiful Angel, Betty Thompson. I remember so much about Betty but the greatest was she would say “ Sharon, you never have any wrinkles”, my I loved when she said that! Well she had so much good in her I would need a book to write it all. Betty loved to bake and cook, she always cared about people and boy did she have patience with Ralph. She will never be forgotten. “Fly ever so gently Betty”. R.I.P.

What an amazing and beautiful woman! To have had the luck to witness so much of the last century, she must’ve had the most amazing stories to tell. Just a few weeks shy of 98! May we all be blessed with such a life! Renee’ and family, our hearts go out to you as you celebrate the life of a matriarch. May her wisdom, guidance and love forever be in your own hearts. Rest In Peace.
