Torres, Rosa March 30, 1959 - June 13, 2022

Rosa Torres, age 63, of Long Valley, died Monday, June 13, 2022 at Hackettstown Medical Center. Rosa was born March 30, 1959 in Ambato, Ecuador to the late Baron Martinez and Mercedes Altamirano.

Rosa enjoyed gardening, traveling, arts and crafts, music, but what she loved the most was having family gatherings. Until 2016, Rosa worked as a beauty advisor in Macy’s, Jersey City, she enjoyed bringing smiles to her customers, as well as her colleagues. In recent years, Rosa enjoyed spending time at Adler Aphasia Center in Maywood, NJ, where she made friends she loved dearly.

Rosa is survived by her beloved husband Tito, daughters, Jessica, Sofia, Nathalie and Stephanie her stepson, Tito Jr., her sons in law John and Scott, and her grandchildren Melany and Raymond.

Extended family and friends are welcome to visit at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 4-8 pm with services starting at 7:30 pm

    I had the pleasure to meet Rosa at the Adler center. I worked with her the past few years at jewelry making class. We had a lot of fun with cooking class also. I was so grateful that last semester, we were able to be side-by-side again during Art class. Her lovely pieces are still hanging on the wall. Hugs! Rosa xox
