Donna Trainello of White Township, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, in Hackettstown, New Jersey, at the age of 68. Born on June 30, 1957, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Donna lived a life filled with love and cherished traditions.

Donna was the beloved wife of Alan Trainello and a devoted mother to her daughter Katlin Trainello and Katlin’s partner Cody Pullins. She was a proud grandmother to her two granddaughters, Scarlett and Molly. Donna also shared a close bond with her siblings: Mary Beth Castimore and her husband Rich, Michael Dolac and his wife Jackie, Christine Ivins and her husband Tim. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her stepson Alan Leffingwell, her parents Mary and Eugene Dolac, and her sister Maureen Dolac. Their memories remained close to Donna’s heart throughout her life.

Donna found happiness in the simple joys of life. She treasured spending time with her family and had a special love for her dog Rex. Summers held a special place in Donna’s heart as she vacationed every year on Long Beach Island – a tradition that brought relaxation and family connection. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her sisters, creating countless fond memories.

Donna’s warmth and devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May the memory of her kindness and the joy she brought into the lives of others bring comfort to those mourning her loss.

A private service will be held at the family’s convenience.
