Vanorskie, Virginia July 27, 1951 - January 2, 2025

Virginia (Ginny) Vanorskie (Ayres) passed away on January 2, 2025 at home surrounded by her family after a long illness.

She worked at Cigna Healthcare in Rockaway, NJ for ten years before retiring in 2015 from Everest National Insurance Company in Warren, NJ.  In retirement, she enjoyed crocheting and selling her items at the local craft fairs.  She also enjoyed spending quality time in Vermont with her mother, Marjorie E. Webber, that predeceased her in 2011.

She is also predeceased by her husband, Louis F. Vanorskie, Jr., for almost 50 years.  She is survived by her three children, Terry Clancy, Tracy Lyons and Louis F. Vanorskie, III, her brothers James Hubbard, John Webber, and Jerry Webber, and her six grandchildren, Haley, Ciara, Ryan, JT, Blake and Sophia as well as many friends, nieces, nephews that will miss her.

A memorial visitation will be held at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 4-8 pm.  Interment of cremains will be at a later date at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cold Nose Warm Heart Dog Rescue and the Long Valley First Aid Squad.
