Walter Christopher Williams,”Butch”, age 79, of Oxford, NJ died Friday, December 2, 2022 at home. Walter was born July 30, 1943 in Newark, NJ to the late Walter and Emma (Rodman) Williams.  In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Williams and his son-in-law, Leon Johnson.

He was previously employed by Mid Atlantic Trucking, Hackettstown, NJ as a Truck Driver for many years before his retirement.    Butch enjoyed tinkering with stereo equipment and working on his beloved Mustang car.  He was a New York Yankee and Jet fan and a loving dad, husband and friend.

He is survived by his wife: Patricia Ann (Gill) Williams, his daughters, Patty Penaloza and her husband Luis, Ann Marie Johnson, a cousin, Stanley Williams, 6 grandchildren, Dominic, Basilio, Niki, Danny, Olivia and Zach and many great grandchildren and friends.

Burial of ashes will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, December 8 at Pequest Union Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Great Meadows, NJ.
