Yudichak, Martin S. August 6, 1942 - June 2, 2021

Martin S. Yudichak “Marty”, age 78, of Hackettstown, NJ died peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

Marty was born in Larksville, Pa on August 6th, 1942 to the late Anna and Martin Yudichak.  He was married for 56 years to Mary (Bialek) Yudichak.

Marty grew up in Larksville, PA and graduated from Larksville High School in 1961.  He was an All-Scholastic Guard in the football program and a lifelong Washington Redskins Fan.

Marty honorably served in the US Army from 1961-1964, in Germany.  Marty was employed by British Petroleum for 25+ years, and retired from Morris Knolls High School in 2005.  Marty enjoyed attending Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary Roman Catholic Church, working around the house and spending time with his granddaughters and family.

Marty is survived by his wife, Mary (Bialek), his sons, Martin of Hackettstown, NJ and Kenneth and his wife Stephanie of Blairstown, NJ,  his brother Robert and sister-in-law Kathie Yudichak and His granddaughters, Julia and Hailey, and three step grandchildren, Jessica, David and Dylan.

Martin  is predeceased by his sister Theresa and brother-in-law Joseph Saxton

Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 1-5 pm.

A funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10 am.  Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Hackettstown following the service.

Donations may be made to the American Legion Post #164, P.O. Box 332, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 in memory of Martin.
