My dad was always hard working and loved his job with A&P, still talked shop and commented on ShopRites sales. He was so happy to move north and be close to his kids and grandkids. I will miss our talks on politics and all the other things he was so fluent in, he was a very smart man with a wealth of knowledge. He will be missed dearly.

I was fortunate enough to work for Mr. Zetterberg from 1996 until 1999 at the Hackettstown A&P during and after High School. He was a very stern but fair man. He managed the Hackettstown store well and treated his employees with respect. I learned many things from his leadership and good work ethic during the short time I worked for him. To this day, those values have made an impact on me.

I am saddened to hear the news of Mr. Zerterberg’s passing. He was my fist store manager during my time with A&P. To do this day I remember all of the advice and guidance he had given to me and I know it played a major part in where I am today in my career and I will always be grateful for that. Rest In Peace Mr. Z.
