Mary Arjanna Brodt, age 97, formerly of Manunkachunk, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 at The House of The Good Shepherd in Hackettstown, NJ. Born on February 13, 1925, in Easton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Willam Kaske and Mary Slough Kaske.
Mary had lived in Manunkachunk for 27 years with her husband Bud who predeceased her in 2004. Before that they lived in Cedar Grove, NJ, Pen Argyl, Pa., and Phillipsburg, NJ. She graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1942.
Mary enjoyed crafts, was an avid knitter and volunteer.
She was a member of the Calypso Chapter of The Order of Eastern Star and the Knitwits of Blairstown.
She is survived by a son, James W. of Lititz, PA, two daughters, Kathleen Tilwick and her husband, James of Placitas, NM, Jacquelynn Suggs and her husband, Bill of Manunkachunk, NJ; four grandchildren; Michael Derenzis, Jr, Elizabeth Semonsky, Damion Frye, Jeremy Brodt, and nine great grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Cochran Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
