Jacobs, Christine M. November 6, 1967 - January 17, 2022

Christine (Hingos) Jacobs passed peacefully on Monday January 17, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Allamuchy, NJ.

Christine was born on November 6th 1967 in  Livingston, New Jersey to Jane (Mulhare) and Richard Hingos. She graduated Bayley- Ellard High School in Madison and had dreams of being her own boss and master of her own future. She achieved just that, starting a successful petsitting business, becoming a realtor for Fiedler Realty, flipping homes with her husband Marc, and so much more.

Christine is survived by her husband of 24 years, Marc, her only daughter Brianna (Steven) Whitehouse and two beautiful grandchildren Parker and Olivia who she loved so much.  She is also survived by her loving mother, Jane Hingos, brother Richard (Michele) Hingos Jr., and her niece and nephew Nicole and JJ whom meant so much to her. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Hingos and her sister, Mary Hingos, who we know have been waiting to welcome her with open arms.

Christine loved to work, she loved her family fiercely and she loved to spend any downtime she had at her beloved shore house in Barnegat, NJ. Christine had an uncanny ability to “keep things real” with her unapologetic outlook on life. She was generous and always wanted to take care of her family in any way she could, always putting them ahead of herself. She lived her life with no regrets and tried to take care of those she loved up until the time of her passing simply by fighting as long as she did.

She touched many lives and the world is a better place because of her short time in it. Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of her life at Cochran Funeral Home in Hackettstown on Friday January 21st from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.

A funeral mass will be held at Good Shepherd Church in Andover on Saturday January 22nd at 11am.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the the Popcorn Park Animal Refuge, 1 Humane Way & Lacey Rd. Forked River, NJ 08731 in memory of Christine.

RIP Christine. I wish we got to know you better. We were neighbors in Barnegat, and we wouldn’t have our place if you weren’t so kind to us the day we were snooping around a unit for sale in your building. The last time I saw you, we bonded over dinner and “cosmo martini’s” at the local pub. Until we meet again…
To Marc, Brianna, Jane, and the entire family, our hearts are broken for you…Christine was taken way too young.
    Our Deepest Sympathies,
