Parkes R. Cummins

Parkes R. Cummins of Great Meadows, NJ, passed away on September 27th 2026 at the age of 83. He was a loving and supportive father, brother, son, uncle, and friend and will be missed dearly. He was predeceased by his wife of 31 years, Sandra B. Cummins, as well as his parents and six siblings. He is survived by the couple’s daughter, Lisa N. Cummins, and sons, Matthew P. Cummins and John E. Cummins, along with many nephews and nieces.  He began working at John E. Rogers, Inc. in 1959 and retired as a partner in 2024.  The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Independence Volunteer Fire Department, Great Meadows, NJ. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St. Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
