Ainsworth, Nancy Lynn October 28, 1952 - July 10, 2023

On Monday, July 10, 2023, Nancy Lynn, loving mother and grandmother tragically passed away at the age of 70.

She was an animal lover who enjoyed spending time outdoors and will be remembered for her quiet strength and gentle nature.

She is survived by her daughter Paula Rios, son in law James Rios, grandsons Ian Ainsworth and Evan Ainsworth, as well as former husband John Ainsworth, and her two beloved cats.

Nancy was predeceased by her son Jonathan Ainsworth and grandson Sean Ainsworth.

A memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm with a Memorial Service starting at 3:00 pm at Faith Discovery Church, 33 Brass Castle Rd, Washington NJ, with Pastor Jerry Scott officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. 908-852-3361

    When we were neighbors we walked by the fish ponds by old Alumni Field. It was an enjoyable moment in time.

    Nancy will be missed by all of us at the Senior center where she worked by the seniors and by the people she worked with. The center will not be the same without her. She was a great friend with a big heart. She will be missed by all of us.

      Susan, I wish you would have contacted me about Nancy. I have always liked Nancy and tried so hard to get close to her. I worked seven years with her at the center and that’s about as close as I got. Marianne just sent a text to me about her passing. Louise
