Allman, Ann Marie September 28, 1933 - July 4, 2023

Ann Marie Allman, 89, of Hackettstown, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, July 4, after a short illness. Born in Belleville, N.J., on September 28, 1933, Ann was the daughter of
the late John and Carmella Russo. Ann lived in Belleville, Wayne and Succasunna prior to moving to Hackettstown in 1994. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother
Dominic Russo, and sisters Louise Rovell, Mary Russo, and Charlotte Schmitt.

Ann was a homemaker and devoted wife to her husband of 47 years, William, who passed away in 2001, and a loving mother to her four children. She showed her love by cooking for family and friends. The biggest joy in her life was her four granddaughters, and she was blessed by many friends old and new. She was a parishioner of Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Hackettstown.

She is survived by her sisters; Dolores Russo, Carmel DiPaolo, and Joanne Vigilante; and her children; Gregory Allman and wife Gina of Rockaway, Donna Allman of Independence, Carla Allman of Randolph, Andrea Bayer and husband Christopher of Oxford; her granddaughters; Kimberly Allman, Kylie, Celia and Jaiden Bayer.

Visitation will be Monday, July 10, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown NJ and a Mass of Christian burial will follow on July 10 at 11:30 a.m. at
Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary, 305 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Mountain Avenue, Hackettstown, following the Mass.

With the help of Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, Ann was lovingly cared for in her home before her passing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta
Avenue, Newton, NJ, 07860.

The family would like to offer a heart-felt thank you to Sandra, Ann’s live-in aid. For the past six months, Sandra was not only an exceptional health care aid, she treated Ann with compassion
