Deanna Byron of Budd Lake, NJ passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, September 15, 2026. She was 83 years old.

Daughter of John Amaral and Ethel (Harrison) Amaral, Deanna was born on November 9, 1942 in Massachusetts and grew up in Billerica and Gloucester. Deanna moved to New Jersey in
1973 with her young family and raised her children in Budd Lake.

Deanna was a member of Vasa Park. She worked as a teacher’s aid at the Little Learner Academy in Succusanna, NJ for a number of years. Deanna spent one month every fall splitting
time between her son Steven and his family in Marshfield, Massachusetts, and with her brother Richard, sister Joan, and their families in New Hampshire. She greatly enjoyed the outdoors,
painting, and performing on stage.

Deanna is predeceased by her parents, her brothers Jackie and Richard, her sister Joan, and her husband Joseph. Deanna is survived by her children, Steven, Greg, Laureen, and their
families. She cherished spending time with her eight grandchildren.

A Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 10am – 12pm, followed by a Prayer Service both at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown NJ 07840. Interment Stanhope Union Cemetery, Netcong, NJ.
