Drandakis, Patricia Ann February 21, 1949 - June 29, 2026

In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Drandakis🙏

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, nana, great-nana, best wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and dear friend Patricia Ann Drandakis, who passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026 at the age of 77.

Just two months earlier she had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Though her illness progressed far more quickly than anyone could have imagined, she faced it with remarkable grit, courage, and unwavering strength.

Born on February 21, 1949 in Coraopolis, Pa., Pat lived in Sparta NJ for 40 years, before moving to Hackettstown in 2003. She lived a life defined by love, compassion, and incredible devotion to her family. She touched countless lives with her kindness, gentle spirit and infectious smile that could light up a room.

She was the cherished and proud wife of Ronald Drandakis, whom she met during highschool, sharing 58 years of marriage together.

They built a loving family that remained the center of their world. She was a dedicated mother to Renee and Rochelle and had a special relationship with both son-in-laws, Joseph Ciulla, and Jeffrey Eisele. Her grandchildren include Vincent (29), AnnMarie (26), Madison (24), Justin (22), and Jason (21). She recently became a great- Nana to Knox, age 1, with another great-grandson expected in August, and was also a wonderful step-great nana to Charlotte (10), and Larson (7).

Throughout her life, Pat enjoyed cheering on her children and grandkids in sports and activities, working as a fitness instructor in Sparta, teaching ballet and serving as a special education aide at Sparta High School. She especially was fond of being a part of the Special Olympics during her time at the school. Pat became an administrative assistant in a chiropractic office in Sparta where she took her responsibilities very seriously until retiring.

Most recently she enjoyed weekly date nights with her husband Ron and trips to the casinos and dinners out together. For the past 20 years she wholeheartedly took on her role as a loving wife, caring deeply for Ron and creating a warm, and supportive home.

She will be remembered for her generosity, for her Christmas traditions, and for the love she gave out freely.

Although her family grieves this tremendous loss, they find comfort in her strong faith, and in knowing she is now at peace with our Heavenly Father, and that her love, wisdom, and beautiful soul will remain with them always.

She is survived by her amazing husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as her sister, Nancy Gottschalk, her husband Ron, and their children Ron and Melissa, along with their families. She was preceded in death by her mother, AnnMarie Gnjatovich, and her father, Anthony Gnjatovich.

A Memorial service will be privately held by the family.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever in our hearts.❤️
