Gregory was born at Dover General Hospital and was raised in the Allamuchy and Hackettstown area. He graduated from Hackettstown High School in 2003. He is survived by his beloved wife Nicole and the light of his life, his daughter Brianna. He is survived by his mother Wendy Bailey Dahms (Donald) and father and best friend Greg Bailey (Patrice) sisters Krista Murphy (Ryan) and Jessica Silvent (Joseph) and step siblings Jory White, (Mary) Ryan Dahms, (Kelly) and Lindsey Mercurio (Michael) as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded by grandparents Agnes and William Nostrand and Ralph and Arlene Bailey.

Gregory worked at Accelleron, USA Inc. In Somerset, New Jersey as a service coordinator after many years of being a service engineer in the field traveling across the country working on turbo chargers on ships and in power plants.

He loved working with his hands and getting dirty, he always had a project going on. Greg loved working on his motorcycle, building things in his machine shop, and took pride in meticulously manicuring the lawn. His happy place was summer vacation in Wildwood with his family. He loved walking the boardwalk late at night having snacks and taking his daughter on rides. Greg loved Taco Bell, Hot Dog Johnny’s, taking the family on adventures in his Jeep with the doors off during nice weather. Shortly before his death, he told his family that spending quality time with them was when he felt the happiest. As a family, they shared some really special moments together over the summer that they will never forget and will cherish forever.
