Anthony J. Parello, Jr., best known to family and friends as Tony, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, peacefully surrounded by family. He was the son of Anthony and Mary (Fusco) Parello and was born in Plainfield, NJ and lived most recently in Hope, NJ. He was 81 years old.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Beverly (Berg) Parello, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage; his five children; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two sons, John Anthony and Christopher Michael. His children are Dawn Marie Tomaselli and her husband, Jay; Michele Brenner and her late husband, Keith; and Andrew Parello and his wife, Jessica. His grandchildren are Megan and Heather Tomaselli; Keith Brenner and his wife, Kathryn; Sean and Alicia Brenner; and Ashley, Kristen, and Carter Parello. His great-grandchildren are Harley and Keith III Brenner. Tony is also survived by his older brother, Vincent Parello, age 92, and Vincent’s daughter, Sharon Parello.

Tony started out as a barber and proudly owned Tony’s Barber shop in Watchung, NJ. His favorite things to do were fishing and hunting. He valued his time with his family and Pup companion Bella.
