Mary Ann Florence Grogan age 79 died Wednesday, July 28, 2021.  It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Ann Florence Grogan announce her passing following a recent injury and illness.  A long-time resident of Hackettstown, New Jersey, Mary Ann was born on May 1, 1042.  She graduated from Saint Mary’s Elementary School and Hackettstown High School and earned her Licensed Practical Nurse certification from Warren County Vocational School.

The daughter of the late Helen and Martin David Grogan, Mary Ann is survived by her loving brother Martin J. Mary Ann was a dedicated nurse for 34 years at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey.  She loved to laugh, enjoyed extensive travel, and cherished her family, friends, and pets.  Following her retirement from nursing, Mary Ann relocated to Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, where she dedicated much of her time as a foster parent through the Saint Joseph’s Center in nearby Scranton, lovingly caring for infants prior to their adoption.  A kind and sensitive person, Mary Ann will be sadly missed by those who loved and spent the time with her.
