On Monday, March 18, 2024, Marian Gzella, at the age of 69, completed his earthly pilgrimage in Hope, NJ, surrounded by his loving family. Marian was born on May 8, 1954, in Świecie, Poland, as the son of the late Jan Gzella and the late Janina Wiczarska.
Throughout his life, Marian was cheerful and loved sharing his joy with others. He never passed by someone in need without offering help.
Marian had a passion for music. He composed religious songs: both their lyrics and music. For many years, he was the organist at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Great Meadows, NJ, and also served as an organist at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Garfield, NJ.
He was deeply involved in organizing and participating in the walking pilgrimage from Ss. Peter and Paul Church to the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA.
After a valiant, determined, and strong fight against cancer for 8 years, Marian leaves behind his loving wife Danuta, his loving children Kasia and her husband Steven, Agnieszka, and Filip, his grandchildren, and his brother and sisters Andrzej, Teresa, and Alicja, and their families in Poland.
The wake will take place at Cochran Funeral Home in Hackettstown, NJ, on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral mass will be held at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Great Meadows, NJ, on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 9:30 am.
Burial will take place at the Cemetery of the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA.

W poniedziałek, 18 marca 2024, Marian Gzella w wieku 69 lat zakończył swoją ziemską pielgrzymkę w Hope, NJ, otoczony przez swoją kochającą rodzinę. Marian urodził się 8 maja 1954 w Świeciu, Polska, jako syn zmarłego Jana Gzella i zmarłej Janiny Wiczarskiej.
Przez całe swoje życie, Marian był wesoły i uwielbiał dzielić się tym z innymi. Także, nigdy nie przeszedł obojętnie obok osoby potrzebującej pomocy.
Marian miał pasję do muzyki. Był autorem pieśni religijnych oraz komponował muzykę do tych tekstów. Przez wiele lat był organistą w Kościele Świętych Piotra i Pawła w Great Meadows, NJ, oraz był organista w kościele św. Stanisława Kostki w Garfield, NJ.
Był bardzo zaangażowany w pomocy i organizowaniu pieszej pielgrzymki z kościoła Świętych Piotra i Pawła do Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Częstochowskiej w Doylestown, PA.
Po walecznej, zdeterminowanej i silnej walce z rakiem przez 8 lat, Marian zostawia po sobie kochającą żonę Danutę, swoje kochające dzieci Kasię i jej męża Steven, Agnieszkę i Filipa, swoich wnuków, oraz brata i siostry Andrzieja, Teresę i Alicję z ich rodzinami w Polsce.
Pożegnanie odbędzie się w Cochran Funeral Home w Hackettstown, NJ, w piątek 22 marca 2024 od godziny 16:00 do 20:00.
Msza pogrzebowa odbędzie się w kościele Świętych Piotra i Pawła w Great Meadows, NJ, w sobotę 23 marca 2024 o godzinie 9:30am.
Pogrzeb odbędzie się na cmentarzu Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Częstochowskiej w Doylestown, PA.
