Betty was born March 10, 1925 in Hackettstown, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Thelma Hann. Betty passed away on June 18, 2021.
She lived the first part of her life in Hackettstown, New Jersey.
Graduating from Hackettstown High School in 1944. She was employed at Petty’s gas station, a short stint at a pocketbook factory in Netcong, many years delivering flowers for Morgan Florist and closing out as a custodian at Willow Grove School where she made many friends of teachers and students.
She was a very active member of Hackettstown Presbyterian Church, receiving her first Bible there in 1935.
In 2005, Betty and her best friend, Doreen Redline moved to Colorado to be near her sister and brother in law, Ben and Lois Silliman.
Betty attended church regularly, but due to her dedication and donating to the organ fund at Hackettstown Presbyterian Church she kept her long membership there.
Betty is survived by her sister Lois, one nephew Ben, seven nieces and a sister in law.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, brother, brother in law and one grand niece.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
