Christine Lancaster, of Byram, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026.
Born and raised with strong values of faith, love, and devotion, Christine lived a life centered on her family and her relationship with God. She was a woman of quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Christine was the beloved wife of the late Allen T. Lancaster, Sr., with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, hard work, and deep love for their family. Their bond was a testament to commitment and partnership, and she carried that love with her throughout her life.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Christine found her greatest joy in her family. She is survived by her sons, Allen Lancaster, Jr., and Eric Lancaster and wife Amy; her cherished grandchildren, Zeke and Hope; her loving sisters, Valerie (Scott) and Dawn (Gary); her brother, John (Judy); as well as extended family members and loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy.
Christine dedicated many years of faithful service to Nabisco, where she was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and the relationships she built with those around her.
She shared her husband’s strong Christian faith and was a faithful member of Sparta Evangelical Free Church. Her faith guided her daily life and was reflected in her kindness, humility, and the love she showed to others.
The family finds comfort in the promise of scripture:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want… Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” – Psalm 23:1-6
She will be remembered for her warmth, her quiet strength, and the way she made others feel cared for and welcomed. Her life was a beautiful example of grace, devotion, and enduring love.
