Joyce Melillo, age 81, of Long Valley, died peacefully on Monday, August 28, 2023.

Joyce was born March 8th, 1942 in Newark, NJ.  She was the daughter of Herbert Yardley and Vincenzia “Hilda” (Solomita) Yardley.  “Mema” was a devoted grandmother to Joey and Alana, a devoted Mother to

Joseph and his wife Stefanie, and devoted wife to Philip Melillo.  She leaves behind many loved ones including her Brother Herbert J. Yardley his wife, Particia Yardley, and many cherished Nephews and Nieces. Mrs. Melillo retired after 35 years as a Business Administrator – Army CIV DOD at ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, where she left behind many cherished friends and co-workers.  A pet lover, particularly dogs, Joyce volunteered with animal rescue organizations.
