Dolores V. Paulin (nee Sloan) passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the age of 95.
She was a First Lieutenant in the US Army, serving during the Korean War. Dolores was born and raised in Kearny NJ, she was a graduate of Montclair State University and of Indiana University.
She retired from the NJ Division of Youth and Family Services as a Regional Administrator. Also, she was a 50 year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington and of the American Legion.
Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Paulin Sr., devoted mother of daughter, Kathryn Henry of Hollis, N.H., son Charles J. Paulin Jr. of Oakridge NJ, son and daughter in law, David J. Paulin Sr. and Lee Ellen Paulin of Denville NJ, son Bruce T. Paulin of Reno NV, and Grandmother of Olivia R. Paulin and David J. Paulin, Jr. of Denville NJ.
A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, 151 Mountain Avenue, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840 on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
