Lisa Ann Sergent- Milelli, 61, passed away on May 26, 2026 in her family home in Long Valley, New Jersey. She was surrounded by the love of the family she spent her whole life building and caring for.
Lisa was born on June 13, 1964 to the late Bill Sergent Sr. and Betty Sergent. She grew up in the community she would call home for her entire life, attending West Morris Central High School, where she met the love of her life, Joseph Milelli. Their story, which began in those hallway years, came full circle when they married on October 3rd, 2020 at their home, a place that always held a special place in their hearts. She was a well known and loved woman of the community, and always leant a helping hand to anyone in need. Between working and planning events, what Lisa loved to do the most was spend time with her family. This includes watching her new grandson, JJ and her dog Riley.
She is survived by her husband Joseph, her two sisters Tammy and Marilyn, and her five children Alex, Amanda and her husband Daniel, Matt, Joe and his wife Stephanie, and her adopted son Billy. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Sergent Jr. Lisa leaves behind a legacy her family and Long Valley will carry forward, forever.
Services will be held at Cochran’s Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. Viewing services are on Monday, June 1st, 2026 from 4pm-8pm. Funeral services are on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 at 10am at Cochran Funeral Home. Burial services to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
