Louise C Stefanski, age 93, of Great Meadows, NJ died Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Heath Village of Hackettstown, NJ.  Louise was born August 8, 1930 in Great Meadows, NJ to the late John and Stella (Kurpicki) Kowalick.  In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, and her sister, Helen “Essie” Mason.

She was employed by Rogers Transfer in their Accounts Payable Dept. for many years before her retirement.  Louise enjoyed going to bingo, traveling especially cruising, and reading.  In addition she loved going to Atlantic City and Mt. Airy Casinos and spending time with her loving family. .

Louise is survived by her daughter, Teresa A Blackmer and husband John, her son, Michael Stefanski, Sr. and wife Rita, three grandchildren, Michael, Jr. and wife Amy, Patrick and wife Erin, Amy and fiancé Brendan and four grandchildren, Leah, Dylan, Declan and Max, Eric and wife Stacey and great grandchildren Elijah and Savannah.

Visitation will be Monday, September 18 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 19 at St. Peter and Paul, 360 US Highway, Great Meadows, NJ with Rev. Grzegorz “Greg” Podsiadlo officiating.  Burial will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows following the mass.
