It is with much grief and sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Julia (Kendra) Wulf, 52 of Blairstown NJ, on Friday August 23rd 2024. She is survived by her husband David Wulf of 30 years and her three children, Dylan, Benjamin, and Kathryn. She is also survived by her in-laws Henry and Patricia Wulf of Hackettstown, and her sister in-law Deborah Woodruff and her husband Charlie of Greensboro, NC. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Joan and Walter Kendra, of Long Valley. She is survived by her sister Joanne Scara and her husband John of Batavia, II. Also survived by her brother Mark Kendra and his wife Moira of Great Meadows, and her brother Eric Kendra and his wife Mary-Leigh also of Great Meadows and her brother Paul V. Kendra of Booton NJ, and many nieces and nephews.
Julia was born on October 4, 1971 and grew up in Long Valley. She graduated with the class of 1989 from West Morris Central High School, in Chester NJ. Julia worked for several years at “Deck The Walls” Print and Frame Store in the Brunswick Square Mall, which her parents, Joan and Walter Kendra, owned. Among the many jobs she had, she also worked with animals for several years which was one of her favorite jobs. She also loved working outdoors and did so for many years. Julia was very talented in many artistic ways such as crafting, drawing, scrapbooking, painting and decorating, she also wrote poetry and was a published poet. Growing up, she was always the cutest one in the room. She was often with friends and family and always up for doing something. She had a great sense of humor as well as a great smile. Julia was well loved by her friends and family will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Friends and family are welcome to visit from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 22, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held on September 22, 2024 at 4:30 pm at Cochran Funeral Home.
