It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Cherick, age 88, of Hackettstown which occurred on Sunday, November 5, 2023.   Alice was born October 28, 1935 in Brownstown, IN to the late George N. and Anna Belle (Noe) Taylor.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alexander, and her brothers, James Taylor and Robert Souders, and sister, Ruth Peters.

Beloved mother of her three daughters, Deborah Cherick, Cheryl Fano, Pamela Stern and husband Neil, a son, Glenn Cherick and wife Rena, and a grandmother to 10 grandchildren, Kevin, Shawn, Shane, Austin, Seth, Samantha, Vanessa, Lisa, Cole, Wesley and 10 great grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral which will be held at Cochran Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, November 10 from 10 am – 11 am at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

The service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, November 10 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Pastor James Craig officiating.  Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover following services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090 in memory of Alice.
