Joan E. Graham, age 85, of Shelton, CT, formerly of Hackettstown and Parsippany, NJ died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Griffin Hospital of Derby, CT.  Joan was born April 2, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Florence (Nixon) O’Hara.  In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel R. Graham, her brothers, John and Tom O’Hara and sister, MaryLou McLane.

She was employed by Chase Manhattan Bank, Lake Hiawatha, NJ as a Bank Manager for many years before her retirement.  Joan was a former member of the Panther Valley Ecumenical Church, Allamuchy, NJ, the Panther Valley Garden Club, the Allamuchy Senior Citizens, the Red Hats Club and the Friends and Neighbors of Panther Valley.

She is survived by her daughters, Beth and Joan and grandchildren, Trevor and Lauren. She is also survived by her, son-in-law Rich, sister, Carol Ann and her nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ on Friday September 22, 2023 from 10 am to 12 noon.

The funeral services will be held following the visitation at 12 noon at the funeral home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Rev. Mario Spadaro officiating.  Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
