Janowski, Joseph Dr. October 28, 1964 - July 23, 2023

Dr. Joseph Janowski, Chiropractor, son, brother, cousin, and friend, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 in Pennsylvania.  He was 58 years young.

Joseph was born October 28, 1964 in Teaneck, NJ and lived in Hopatcong, NJ with his mother, Connie, father Marty and two sisters, Anne and Mary until he graduated from college.  He attended St. Michael’s school in Netcong NJ and Morris Catholic High School in Denville, NJ.  At Seton Hall university he obtained his Bachelor’s degree and went on to earn a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University in Georgia.  Upon graduation, Joseph opened Janowski Family Chiropractic in Ashley PA.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  Three years ago he opened an additional office in East Stroudsburg, PA to be closer to his father.  Most of all, he was a devoted son to his father Marty, who he lived with and cared for.  He was a fun and loving brother, uncle, and cousin.  Joseph had a huge heart and gave unconditional love to his friends and family.  He was always full of laughter.  Most of all, he was loved greatly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Joseph is survived by his father, Martin W. Janowski, sisters, Anne Drescher and husband Paul

Drescher, Mary Novak, and husband Michael Novak.  He was blessed with being an uncle to Anne and Paul’s children, Madelynn, Jack, and Vivian, along with Mary’s children, Alaina Pirrello, husband Michael Pirrello, children Erika and Emily; Christopher Novak, wife Hallie Novak, children Amelia and Cole, Gregory Novak, Rebecca Novak and Julia Novak.

Joseph is predeceased by his mother Constance T. Janowski.

A celebration of his life will be held at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street Hackettstown, NJ on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12:00 Noon.  Friends and family may gather at the funeral home starting at 10:00am for a memorial visitation.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown NJ 07840.

    I’m lost for words, he was my therapist my friend my lunch buddy, and most of all I loved Joe as a brother from a different race. We went places and the looks that we would get🤣. He would joke with me and say Meschelle I know I’m safe with you nobody going to mess with this black girl only Joe can make jokes he never sees color only love. Joseph, you will be missed and now you can walk and talk with your mom. I love you🌹🙏❤️ see you on the other side…!
