Tape, Brian August 25, 1936 - September 9, 2023

Brian Tape, age 87, of Hackettstown died Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Heath Village.  Brian was born August 25, 1936 in Exeter, England to the late George and Dora Annie Eloisa (Boston) Tape.  In addition to his parents Brian was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Kristina Berezny.

He was previously employed by Sun Chemical Corp. Philadelphia, PA as a Printing Ink Industrial Chemist for many years before his retirement.  Brian was passionate about his position there and took great pride in his work.  In addition, he was a member of Emmanuel Bible Church, Schooley’s Mountain, NJ, enjoyed all things soccer, photography, gardening and fishing.

Brian is survived by his wife, Angela (Wilbond) Tape, his daughter, Nicola Calabrese and husband Albert, a brother, David Tape and wife Audrey, his sister, Carolyn Meacham and husband Alan, a son-in-law, John Berezny, grandchildren, Rachel, Jonathan, Michael and Maria, great grandchildren, Tyler, Allyson, Jase and Harper and a God daughter, Katherine.

The memorial service will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 19 at Emmanuel Bible Church, 3 Pleasant Grove Road, Schooley’s Mountain, NJ with Pastor Adam Jacobs officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Bible Church Deacon Fund, 3 Pleasant Grove Road, Schooley’s Mountain, NJ 07870 in memory of Brian.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
