Wilson, Elizabeth Patricia November 10, 1947 - March 4, 2022

Elizabeth “Betty” Patricia Wilson, age 74, of Great Meadows, New Jersey, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022.  She is survived by her husband, Joseph Warren; her children, daughter, Mary-Leigh  and husband Eric Kendra, daughter, Elizabeth Ann and husband Jeffrey Thornton, and  son, Joseph Warren and wife Maia Wilson; her six grandchildren, Eric, Sean, Kelly, Joseph, Keira, and Braden; two brothers Michael and Leo McLaughlin; niece, Kimberly McLaughlin, and two nephews, Michael and Leo McLaughlin.

Betty grew up in Morristown, New Jersey where she attended Morristown High School, class of 1965.  She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life on May 28, 1966.  Betty and Warren were married for 55 years.

Betty had several jobs throughout her life, but she was most proud of her career as a realtor.  She enjoyed helping families find their dream home.  Betty was a realtor for over 25 years and retired in 2021.

Betty was an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her greatest love was her family and friends.  She always provided support and love, and put others’ needs above her own.  She believed family comes first and left this legacy with her children.  Her family grieves her loss but takes comfort knowing that she is resting peacefully.

Visitation will be Friday, March 11 from 4-8pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, New Jersey

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 12 at Church of the Assumption of The Blessed Mary, 305 High Street, Hackettstown New Jersey with Father David Pekola officiating.
