Charlie Alan Graham, of Panther Valley, Hackettstown, NJ died Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Charlie was born January 8, 2020 in Morristown, NJ. He is the son of Geoffrey and Jena (Gattuso) Graham.
Charlie is survived by his loving parents, a brother, Max, his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Charlene Gattuso, his paternal grandparents, Alan and Terry Graham and many aunt, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 10 am to 12 Noon at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. A family service will begin at 11 am to celebrate Charlie.

Laura Giordano, age 92, of Allentown, PA, died Friday, November 1, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. Mrs. Giordano was born May 27, 1927 in Hammonton, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Laura (Sarnese) Lanzara. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell, Sr. after 48 years of marriage.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Our Lady of the Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ with Rev. Marchin Michalowski officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Mountain Cemetery immediately following the mass.

Josephine Garone, 97, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019. Josephine was the daughter oh the late Edward and Rose Cicio. In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, John G. Garone. Also preceded in death by her brother Charles Cicio and Sister, Marie Witkowski.
Josephine lived in Maspeth, NY most of her married life and moved to Hackettstown in 2014 and lived in Bentley Commons at Paragon Village Assisted Living.
She was a fantastic cook and loved to bake - a wonderful home maker. She loved to entertain and enjoyed the company of others. She was a very thoughtful, compassionate person.
Josephine is survived by her children John M. Garone and Joanne Sarisky.
The Memorial Service will be held 4:30 pm on Wednesday, June 5 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father Antony Arockiadoss officiating.

Horace P. “Bud” Gormley, Jr., 88, of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away at his residence with his loving daughter, Leigh Ann Sabia at his bedside. Born in Atlanta, GA in October 29, 1930, Bud was the son of the late Horace P. & Julia Ramey Gormley, Sr.
Bud retired many years ago as the National Account Manager at Hoffman LaRoche Inc. in Nutley, NJ. Prior to his employment Bud served in the United States Army as a Staff Sgt. while serving in Korea. He graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Chemistry.
Bud retired early from Hoffman LaRoche to dedicate his life to his wife, Mary and his newborn grandson Stephen. This way, he would have no distractions or commitments to anyone except his family and most importantly, his grandson, Stephen. After the passing of his beloved wife,he made it clear that he simply wanted to be with Mary and meet his Holy savior God. He was prepared for his journey. An exceptionally caring person, Bud was known as the "card man"; if he heard that someone was sick or had passed away, he would always send a card to that person or family even if he didn't know them. It was important to him that the world knew he was concerned about everyone all the time. Whether a stray cat needed to be taken in, (14 in his life to be exact) or a person he could help in any way. While living Heath Village, he would even send a monthly card to the groundskeepers for the beautiful grounds and for the flowers!
Bud is survived by his devoted daughter, Leigh Ann Sabia of Newton, NJ and one loving grandson, Stephen P. Sabia. In addition, he is survived by former son-in-law Vito J. Sabia and many Nieces & Nephews.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Rhodes Gormley in 2016.
Grzegorz “Greg” Gubernat, age 41, of Hackettstown, NJ died unexpectedly Monday, March 11, 2019 at Richmond Medical Center, Staten Island, NY. Greg was born February 17, 1978 in Poland to Jozef and Irena (Ostrowska) Gubernat.
Greg was employed by Food Haulers Incorporated Company, Elizabeth, NJ. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local #863. He loved playing and watching soccer with his son, their favorite team is the NY Red Bulls. Greg was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church, Great Meadows, NJ and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his two children, Daniel and Emma.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Magdalena (Baran) Gubernat , his cherished son and daughter, Daniel and Emma, his loving parents, Jozef and Irena (Ostrowska) Gubernat, a brother, Marcin Gubernat and wife Magdalena, a sister-in-law, Izabella Goralczyk and husband Rafal, father and mother in-law, Stanislaw and Bronislawa Baran, nieces and nephews, Zosia, Adam, David, Maximilian and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lois M. Greiner, 86, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at her home. Born in the Woodhaven section of Queens, NY, Lois was the daughter of the late August & Gladys Oberkirch Carle. She has lived in Hackettstown since 2002 having previously lived in Flanders, NJ & Farmingdale, NY. Lois was a member of the Emmanuel Bible Chapel in Schooley’s Mtn, NJ and enjoyed hosting members during Friday night bible studies. While living in New York, Lois served as a Camp Fire Girl Leader for several years. She also volunteered with the Morristown Seeing Eye Dog Foundation. While living in Flanders, NJ, Lois was a member of the Flanders Presbyterian Church having served as an Elder, Deacon and Sunday school teacher. Lois is survived by one son, Michael C. Greiner and his wife Tara; two daughters, Christine E. Haley and her husband Chris & Phyllis Lynn Ettell. She is also survived by one brother, Edward Carle. Lastly, she had seven beloved Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. Viola Cordelia Graham, aged 76, answered her calling on the 18th day of July, 2018 at her residence in Stanhope, New Jersey, with her family by her side.
Viola was born on the 21st day of March, 1942 in Jamaica, to Roslyn Edmond and Simeon Graham. She left Jamaica in 1974, then later found employment at Clara Maas Medical Center, Belleville, NJ. There, she dedicated a lifetime to her work.
Ms. Graham is preceded in death by her parents, Roslyn and Simeon, and her eldest son, Wayne Graham Sr.
She is survived by her sister; Zelpha, her brothers; Trevor, John, and Neil, her children; Carrol Nicholas, Denesia Graham, Andre Graham, and Donnel Graham, her grandchildren; Melanie Graham, Wayne Graham Jr., Kelsey Graham, Ryan Graham, Deanna Reed and Denesia Mathurin, her great-grandchildren Khalil and Kamil Henderson, and a vine of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 12 noon to 4:00 pm with services to begin at 3:30 pm.
Elaine Kurkjy Garabed, age 80, of Hackettstown, NJ died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 with her family by her side. Elaine was born April 29, 1937 in New York, NY to the late Fred and Attia (Sarkar) Kurkjy. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband George Garabed, Jr. and her loving sister Josephine Frangoul.
Elaine was a New York girl at heart moving to the country when she married. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who adored going on family vacations to the beach. She loved having social time with her friends, gardening and cooking for her family. Elaine was previously employed by Hackettstown Parking Authority, Hackettstown, NJ retiring several years ago.
She is survived by her two daughters, Robin Garabed, Nancy Gutto and husband Anthony, two sons, George Timothy Garabed, Thomas Garabed and wife Graceann, three grandchildren, Julia, Elizabeth and Matthew, a niece and a nephew.
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, April 28 at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 17 Mt Olive Road, Budd Lake, NJ with Father Antonio Gaviria officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Hackettstown.

Russell E. Gustavson age 88, of Hackettstown, NJ died Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ after a brief stay. Russ was born April 22, 1929, in Bloomfield, NJ. He is the son of the late Elmer G. and Bertha (Johnson) Gustavson
of Bloomfield, NJ. In addition to his parents, Russ is preceded in death by his beloved wife and high school sweetheart, Carol (Ferdon) Gustavson, who passed in 2015, and a brother, Elmer G. Gustavson, who passed in 1998.
Russ was a loving and devoted husband of 64 years and father of four. Russ was a proud athlete, as quarterback of the undefeated 1946 state champion Montclair High School Mounties, and later on scholarship at Colgate University, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He proudly served his country in Korea as a Corporal in Army Signal Corp with top secret clearance. He was a lifetime employee of Home Life Insurance as a Certified Life Underwriter in group sales and a mentor to many and was a Mason with the McKinley Lodge #318 of Pittsburgh, PA. Carol and Russ were adoption reform movement activists, supporting the rights of adopted persons to their birth information and records, as well as supporting both adoptive and birthparents across the US.
He is survived by two sons: Gary Gustavson and wife Michelle, Jeffrey Gustavson, two daughters: Susan Gustavson, Cindy Tananis and wife Nancy Mantz, a brother Don Gustavson and wife Marilyn, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Russell’s memorial will be held at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 on June 23rd, 2018 from 12:00p-3:00p followed by a gathering of friends and family. His ashes will be spread at Cape Cod, to join with his wife on the sand flats of Brewster where they spent many wonderful times together. Russ and Carol are together again, for eternity, smiling with us all now, in the beauty of their loving relationship. Friends and family are encouraged to remember his love and joy of life, and his devotion to family and friends.

Patsy Dominick Giordano, age 77, of Hackettstown died Friday, March 23, 2018 at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ. Patsy was born October 24, 1940 in Madison, NJ to the late Dominick and Rose (Esposito) Giordano. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diane (Howlett) Giordano and two sisters, Phyllis Herrick, and Carol Perkalis.
He was previously employed by Chester Township Board of Education, Chester NJ as a Custodian. Patsy enjoyed fishing, watching football and golf on TV but most of all he loved spending time with his pride and joy, his grandson Frankie.
He is survived by a son, Dominick Giordano and wife Cindy, grandson; Frankie Giordano, two brothers; Dominick Giordano and wife Marge, James Giordano and wife Karen, four sisters; Loretta Phillips and husband Jerry, RoseAnn DeMetro and husband Joseph, Patricia Schenawolf and husband Hank and Joann Chirip and husband Steven and many nieces and nephews.

Janet L. Gannon, 77, of Long Valley, NJ died on the afternoon of January 12th.
Janet lived in Long Valley her entire life. Her work and involvement in the school system and neighborhood will leave an everlasting mark on the Long Valley community. Her greatest and most cherished work started with Angel Harris at Old Farmer’s Road School and progressed to her long service with the special education department at West Morris Central High School. This work remained close to heart over most of her 77 years, most recently including a special relationship with Robyn Bridgeman through ARC. Janet was unfailingly kind, a frequent blood donor with a passion for New Jersey, Bruce Springsteen and country music, the beach and Penn State. But none of that could come close to the love she had and the joy she experienced being G.G. to her great-grandson, Austen James.
Her death was preceded by the passing of her beloved husband and soulmate of 44 years, Richard K. Gannon, SR. (Fuzzy). She was also preceded by elder brother, Jerome Bolmer; and brother, Melvin Bolmer;
She was sister to: brother, Robert Bolmer; sister, Marie Bolmer; and half-brother, Ed Messler, aunt to: Noel Bolmer; and Jesse Bolmer;
Mother to four children: eldest son, Richard K. Gannon, Jr. (Fuzzy Jr.); daughter ,Wendy L. Gannon; son, Brian K. Gannon; and daughter, Dawn M. Hup;
Nanny to three grandchildren: eldest granddaughter, Dawn Marie Gannon; grandson, Martin Hup IV; and granddaughter, Sheila Theresa Hup; and G.G. to her pride and joy, great-grandson, Austen James.
There will be viewings on Thursday, January 18th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840, the funeral service will take place on Friday, January 19th at 11am at the funeral home.

Rachid Ghachem, 72, of Hackettstown, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, January 4, 2018, at home.
Born October 3, 1945, in Teboulba, Tunisia, Rachid was the son of the late Taieb and Bechira (Belkahla) Ghachem.
He and his wife, Lydia Ann (Cummins) Ghachem, celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on September 6, 2017.
Rachid graduated from high school in Sousse, Tunisia at the lycée de garçon de Sousse. He studied hotel and tourism management at the Institute d’Hotellerie et du Tourism in Sidi Dhrif, Tunisia and later earned his degree in hotel management at Cornell University in1969, where he and Lydia met.
He worked in the hospitality industry in New York City as auditor and manager for 37 years. Most of his career was spent at the Omni Berkshire Hotel.
Having the gift of creativity, Rachid loved to develop his talents in the areas of: gardening, cooking, photography, and crafting, especially with gourds grown from his garden. He was a lover of travel, music, and dance and spent much of his spare time communicating with family and friends on Facebook, where he loved to send pictures of his family, friends, and his experiences and activities. Rachid was a lover of people and animals. He especially loved nature and spent much time feeding the birds and squirrels in the backyard. He was a fan of sports, especially soccer, which he played in Tunisia on the national soccer team in Sousse. He passed down his passion and skills to both of his daughters.
Rachid loved life and had the ability to find humor in all aspects of everyday life. He loved to joke and make people laugh. He was a strong believer in human rights, equality, commonalities of the entire human race, and freedom of the human spirit.
Rachid was a supporter of the Hackettstown Committee for Crime Prevention (HCCP) and Teen Nights held at the Hackettstown Middle School and the Hackettstown Community Pool.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Lydia Ann, are a daughter, Rachel Ghachem Sutton, and her husband Jack, of Milford, PA and a daughter, Noreen Ghachem and her wife, Elena Maucere, of Ewing, NJ. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Jessica and Eric Sutton.
Rachid has a large family in Tunisia. He was predeceased by four brothers and sisters: Faiza Oueslati, Zohra Tekaya, Noureddine Ghachem and Fathi Ghachem. He is survived by his sister, Monia Belkahla. In addition, he has 17 nieces and nephews (Sami, Mohsen, Samia, Mouna, Taher, Arafet, Arabia, Sophia, Chiraz, Leila, Khalifa, Eskander, Dhekra, Hanen, Bechira, Mohamed, and Saber). He also is survived by his brothers-in-law Abdelhakim Tekaya and Abdeljelil Belkahla and his sisters-in-law Maria and Zohra as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. Dozens of cousins remain, including his best friend, Salem Ghachem.
Most of all, he loved his family.
Viewing will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ on Monday, January 15th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 16th at 11 am followed by burial at Pequest Union Cemetery.

Lawrence J. “Larry” Gilman, age 60, of Hackettstown formerly of Flanders, NJ died Monday, December 18, 2017 at home. Mr. Gilman was born August 20, 1957 in Howard Beach, NY. He was the son of the late Irwin and Rhoda (Blum) Gilman.
He was previously employed by US JVC, Wayne, NJ as a Warehouse Manager. Larry was also a member of the United Wire and Metal and Machine Union Local 810 for 24 years. He loved NASCAR especially Richard Petty, he was an avid electronics buff, enjoyed 1970’s music and spending time with his friends and neighbors.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Lois (Kraetz) Gilman, his brother Steven Gilman and his daughters, Jennifer and Lindsay, his sister, Hilda Gilman, his mother In law, Adele Kraetz, a sister in law and brother in law, Susan and Randy Deutsch and their children, Jessica , Alexa, Ruth and Lewis, 3 great nephews, his beloved cats, Alexandria and Cookie and many amazing friends.
Cremation is private. The memorial service will be held at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ on Sunday December 16, at 12:15 pm. Memorial visitation will be held from 11 am until the time of the service.

Stanley E. Gibbs, 81, of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017. Born in Newton, NJ, Stan was the son of the late Stanley & Clara Poyer Gibbs. A lifelong resident of Hackettstown, Stanley retired from M & M Mars Candy Co. after 30 years of employment in the packing department. Mr. Gibbs was a graduate of Hackettstown High School, Class of 1955 where he excelled in football playing the position of quarterback in the "Single Wing" formation. Stanley served our country in the New Jersey National Guard and was a member of the Hackettstown American Legion, Blue Ridge Post #132. In addition, he was a long time member of the Hackettstown Fire Department and the Hackettstown Moose Lodge. After his retirement, Stanley continued to follow the Hackettstown Football team and was instrumental in erecting the coach "Chot Morrison" memorial on the Hackettstown High School Athletic Field. He is survived by six children; Cynthia Fancera of Oxford, NJ; Gary Gibbs of Colorado Springs, CO; Michael Gibbs of Springfield, NY; Ronald Gibbs of Ashburn, VA; Susan Lindsay of Scotrun, PA & Thomas J. Gibbs of Hackettstown, NJ. One brother, Norman Gibbs of Phillipsburg, NJ and a half sister, Cathy Rivers of Port Charlotte, FL. He also had 7 loving grandchildren. His beloved wife, Juanita McConnell Gibbs passed away several years ago. Visitation will take place from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kathleen Goerke and her husband Matthew, her devoted son, Richard Ghilon and his wife Mary Ellen, a sister, Ann Zeek, 10 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

He is a member of the K of C Council 6100 in Budd Lake.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Alice (Vitkosky) Giliberti, a son, Anthony P Giliberti and his wife Gina, a daughter, Darlene Giliberti, a brother, Pat Giliberti, a sister, Isabelle Spagnardi, grandsons, Taylor, Joseph and Jaret as well as many dear nieces, nephews and friends.

Angela R. Garcia, age 88, of, Hackettstown, NJ formerly of Cuba died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Heath Village, Hackettstown. Mrs. Garcia was born May 31, 1928 in Cuba. She was the daughter of the late Jesus and Manuela (Neira) Regueiro. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francisco S. Garcia in 2010, 2 sisters and 2 brothers in Cuba.
Angela enjoyed sewing, she was a talented seamstress who would repair and make clothing for her friends, and family. She loved to cook and was famous for her delicious Flan. Most of all she loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren and loving family.
She is survived by her 2 loving daughters; Maria McKenna and husband David, Isabel Maginnis and husband Brian, five grandchildren; David McKenna, Kelly Matter and husband Daniel, Blair Maginnis and wife Jacqueline, Jordan Maginnis, Luke Maginnis, 1 great grandson; Josiah Maginnis, a niece; Norma Rodriguez and husband Pedro, several other nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Robert Gall, 82, of Budd Lake, NJ passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017. Bob was the beloved husband of Carol Gall and the father of three daughters; Anne-Marie, Jennifer, and Robyn.
Frederick Michael Gallagher, age 83, of Palm Harbor, Florida, formerly of Allamuchy, NJ and Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. Fred was born March 8, 1934 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. He is the son of the late Michael W. and Harriet (Checkett) Gallagher. Fred was predeceased by his wife, Sarah, sisters; Mary DeMartini, Eleanor Mazza, Monica Emanuele, and baby brother, Dennis Patrick Gallagher. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Gallagher and Kathleen Jaye and her husband David, 1 granddaughter, Grace; his brother Michael Gallagher and numerous nieces and nephews.
Fred had a distinguished 47 year career as an institutional investment management professional. In 1952, he began his career in the Trust Department of Chemical Bank where he rose to Senior Investment Officer. Fred was a Corporate Officer and Investment Officer with the Atlantic Richfield Company, the Director of Pension Investment Management at Bristol-Myers, the Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Summit Trust Company, a Managing Director of Equitable Capital Management, and a Senior Vice President, Equity Investment at Continental Asset Management. He retired as a Senior Vice President of Mutual of America Capital Management in 1999.
Fred was a graduate of Brooklyn College, with a BA in Economics and Finance and studied at the NYU Graduate School of Business. He was a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, a founding member of the Pension Sponsor Group NYC, and served on the Investments and Executive Committees of the NJ Bankers Association. He was on the Board of Directors of Centre Engineering Corporation and The New Jersey Ballet Company. He was a frequent speaker at investment industry conferences and was published in industry periodicals.
Fred was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with his granddaughter, Grace, who was the light of his life. In 1968, he bought the very first lot in the new development of Panther Valley and became the first homeowner. In June 1969, Fred became the first member of Panther Valley Golf and Country Club where he was on the Board of Trustees serving on the Golf Committee, Chairman of the Green and Grounds Committee, the Membership Committee, and the Board Nominating Committee. Fred was also the Editor and Publisher of "The Allamuchy Times, “established in 1970 as the first newsletter for Panther Valley residents.
An avid outdoorsman, Fred greatly enjoyed fly fishing, hiking, skiing, golf, and nature. He taught himself how to hand tie flies made of feathers for trout fishing which he & his brother sold to the original Abercrombie & Fitch when it was a sporting goods store. In his youth, he was a Boy Scout, and won a writing contest in 1946 where he earned the honor of being sworn in by Mayor O'Dwyer as New York City's 425,000th Boy Scout at the Waldorf Astoria. He loved museums, art, photography, history, Native American art, Colonial Williamsburg, and travel. He excelled at trivia and loved old movies. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Nelson E. Ghetti, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ surrounded by his loving family. Born August 31, 1952 in Newton, NJ, Nelson was the son of Doris Stangle Ghetti and the late Nelson E. Ghetti, Sr.
Nelson has been a lifelong resident of Hackettstown, NJ and was a member of the American Legion, Blue Ridge Post #164 in Hackettstown. In addition to his beloved mother, Doris Ghetti, Nelson is survived by three brothers; Louis of Allamuchy, NJ; Daniel and Kathy of Harmony, NJ; Howard and Donna of Hackettstown. He is also survived by many nieces & Nephews. Lastly, Nelson is survived by his loving companion, Patricia Stollenmaier. In addition to his father,Nelson was predeceased by a brother, Ricky Ghetti.

Mick was a legend among the Karate Community.
He is survived devoted parents, Richard Paul and Elizabeth Amelia (Accorsi) Grotefend, his beloved companion, Cynthia Altman, his cherished son, William “Bill” Grotefend and companion Nicole, his loving brother, Charles Grotefend and wife Tracy and his Lifetime Karate Instructor, Sensi Frank Caliguri.

Mafalda Maria Gianfrancesco-Guidi "Tillie", age 78, of Hackettstown died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in St. Clare’s, Dover, NJ. Mafalda was born April 28, 1938 in Perth Amboy, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Michael and Elvira (Pepe) Gianfrancesco. She was also predeceased by her 2 brothers, Ralph & John Gianfrancesco, and 2 sisters, Jennie Santoro and Marie Palfy.
She was the co-owner and operator of Hemlock Hills Nursery and Garden Center in Budd Lake, NJ. Tillie had a huge heart and spirit. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Everyone adored her and she was mother and grandmother to many. Everyone loved going to Tillie’s house as she was a beloved member of her community.
She is survived by her devoted husband: Anthony Guidi, 2 daughters, Nicole Maria Guidi, Danielle Maria Frye and husband Dean, 1 son, Anthony Guidi, Jr. and wife Jennifer, 1 brother, Anthony Gianfrancesco, her mother in law Mary Guidi, 3 grandchildren, Alex, Samantha and Alexandria, and many nieces and nephews.

Daniel A. Goycoechea-DePaul, 9 years old of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Glen Ridge, NJ on January 21, 2007, Daniel was the son of Michael & Laura Goycoechea DePaul.
Daniel was a third grade student at the Willow Grove Elementary School in Hackettstown. In addition to attending school, Daniel loved playing soccer with the Hackettstown Soccer Club and baseball with the Baseball little league of Hackettstown, NJ.
In addition to his mom & dad, Daniel is survived by his step father, Patrick McPhillips and step mother, Allison DePaul. Maternal Grandmother, Ann DePaul of Bellville, NJ. Maternal Grandmother, Nidia Goycoechea of Bloomfield, NJ. Daniel is also survived by a step brother, Sean McPhillips and step sister Megan McPhillips of Hackettstown, NJ.

Mrs. Gombka was formerly employed by the Parsippany Board of Education as a Business Education teacher at the Parsippany High School. Betty has lived in the greater Hackettstown area for the past 25 years coming from Morris Plains, NJ and was raised in Denville, NJ. She was of the Catholic faith and was a parishioner of Good Shepherd Church in Andover, NJ. In addition, Betty was a member of the Panther Valley Crafts group and loved travelling the world.
Betty is survived by her son, David Gombka and his wife Deborah; her daughter, Karen Smith and her husband Paul; one brother, John Jacobsen; two sisters, Linda Szipszky and Anne Hampson; Four loving grandchildren; Adam & Bonnie Gombka and Shannon & Sherry Smith. Leilani M. Glodek, 39, of Mansfield Twp. passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. Born April 16, 1976 in Los Angeles, California, Leilani was the daughter of Coralee Maxson Fernandez and the late Juan Fernandez.
Leilani and her loving husband, Matthew Glodek have lived in Mansfield Twp. for the past four years coming from Landing, NJ. Together, they have raised their “feline” children in a most loving atmosphere. Leilani will be sadly missed by “Tabatha, Eli & Theo” but has left to be reunited with “Kitty, Calvin and her canine daughter, Lucy.

Carol (Bunny) F. Gustavson age 85, of Hackettstown, NJ died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Virginia's House, Belvidere, NJ. Carol was born September 17, 1930 in Hillside, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Lloyd F. and Marie (Solancis) Ferdon. In addition to her parents Carol is preceded in death by her two brothers: Edgar A. and Lloyd F., Jr., Ferdon.
Carol was a loving and devoted wife of 64 years and mother of four. She was a member of the first graduating class of William Paterson College (1952) and loved her teaching career. Though short, it was a statement of her lifelong love of and devotion to the needs of children. She was an adoption reform movement activist and was the founder of Adoptive Parents for Open Records of New Jersey. She was awarded national recognition as a Congressional Coalition Angel of Adoption in 2004 for her lifetime service for members of the adoption triad.
She is survived by her husband: Russell Gustavson, two sons: Gary Gustavson and wife Michelle, Jeffrey Gustavson, two daughters: Susan Gustavson, Cindy (Cyntia) Tananis and wife Nancy Mantz, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 on Tuesday December 8, 2015 from 5-8 pm. Cremation was private.
In honor of her wishes, a celebration of her life will be conducted in the Spring, a season that always held special meaning of renewal and new life for her. Her ashes will be spread at Cape Cod, her special spiritual home and fond vacation spot with special memories across many years.

Jean A. Gerbereux, 83, of Hackettstown, NJ and formerly of Livingston, NJ died Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Heath Village Retirement Community, Hackettstown. Born June 29, 1931 in Jersey City, Jean was the daughter of the late Alexander & Anna Domalewski Rygiel.
Mrs. Gerbereux has lived in the Hackettstown area for the past 8 years and was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain Church. Previously, she and her loving family resided in Livingston, NJ. where Jean was an active member of St. Philomena R.C. Church having participated with the Rosary Society, Choir and served as a lector. Prior to St. Philomena's, Jean belonged to St. Joseph’s Church in Jersey City.
She is survived by five daughters- Michelle (Michael) Warbeck of Cranford, NJ; Nanette (Fedele) Fabiano of Sparta, NJ; Denise (Victor) Eccles of Piscataway, NJ; Claudette (William) Hoffmann of Hackettstown, NJ and Danielle (Brian) Riccitelli of Annandale, NJ. Four Sister’s, Viola Suruda of Hackettstown; Joanne Dzitko of Tenafly, NJ; Irene Ritzer of Waldwick, NJ and Alice Farrell of Mechanicsburg, Pa. In addition, Jean is survived by 10 loving grandchildren; Damian, Nicole, Keith, Bridget, Sean, Erik, Michael, Lauren, Amanda and Audrey. She was formerly employed by Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ as a Supervisor of the EKG/EEG department. Gloria was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hackettstown, NJ and worked in the Trinity Thrift Shop. She enjoyed knitting and bird watching.
Gloria is survived by two daughters: Patricia De Mayo and Barbara O'Neill, three grandchildren; Frank O'Neill, Amanda De Mayo Napoli, Amanda's husband Pasquale Napoli and finally her beloved dog, Chico.

Steven A. Gauthier, age 25, of Hackettstown died Monday, July 28, 2014 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. Steven was born May 3, 1989. He is the son of Arthur Gauthier and Deborah (DiMaio) Dilatush.
Steven moved in to Warren Haven Nursing Home where he resided for the past 3 1/2 years. He enjoyed the activities and socializing with his fellow residents at Warren Haven, he enjoyed taking walks with his family and friends and watching sports with his stepfather.
He is survived by; his mother Deborah (DiMaio) Dilatush and step father Jonathan; his father, Arthur Gauthier, his maternal grandparents, Alphonse & Shirley DiMaio, his sister, Christine Gauthier; his step brother, Jesse Dilatush; his step sister, Jenny Lee Dilatush and 1 niece, Lilly Ann Lewis. Thomas E.W. Geddis, age 66, of Great Meadows, NJ died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center of Hackettstown, NJ. Thomas was born August 27, 1947 in Newton, NJ. He is the son of the late James Spencer and the late Lorraine Ann (Davis) Geddis. He was married to Sirye (Truuts) Geddis.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969. He was the Owner/ Operator and Golf Instructor by Meadows Golf Shop, Great Meadows, NJ.
He is survived by his wife: Sirye (Truuts) Geddis ; daughter; Kristina Lenda and husband Adam. daughter: Deidra Kozlowski and husband Stephen.

Doris Rae Galione, 89, of Panther Valley, Allamuchy Township, NJ passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Sunrise Nursing Home in Randolph, NJ. Born in Gloster, MS on March 13, 1924 to the late O.P. McPherson and Alice (Nachell) McPherson. Doris is survived by her husband, Fred F. Galione.
Doris was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived in Panther Valley, NJ since 1990 coming from the Diamond Hill section of Mansfield Township, NJ. Doris was the Past President of the Garden Club of NJ (1987-1988); member of the Blue Star Memorial Highway Council of NJ; National Flower Arrangers, Warren Garden Club and the Panther Valley Garden Club. She was also a lifetime Flower Judge. Doris loved her husband, children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Doris is survived by her children, Michael Malone; William Galione and wife Helen; Patricia Galione; brother, Orville McPherson; sister Katherine Miller; daughter in law Eleanor Malone and grandchildren Michael, Shannon, Kristen, Michelle, Denise and Kevin. Maureen A Garry, age 73, of Hackettstown, formerly of Jersey City, NJ died Friday, January 24, 2014 at House Of The Good Shepherd of Hackettstown, NJ. Mrs. Garry was born October 10, 1940 in Jersey City, NJ. She is the daughter of the late James and the late Mary (Croughwell) Kiernan. She was also predeceased by her 2 sisters; Kathryn Kenney and Jane Daly.
Maureen was a loving Homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Mountain Roman Catholic Church and ran the gift shop there. Maureen was an avid reader of mystery novels, more recently she enjoyed reading the daily newspaper with her husband Bill and was an active supporter of the Colonial Musketeers, Hackettstown, NJ.

Edward J. Gray, 93, of Stanhope, NJ died on September 23, 2013 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 1, 1920 in Kearny, NJ to the late George and Helen (Miller) Gray. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Marshall) Gray.
Edward lived in Stanhope, NJ for 5 years coming from Toms River, Denville, NJ and North Carolina. A graduate of Rutgers University, and was employed as a Business Analyst for Dunn and Bradstreet. Edward was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his loving family.

Herman Garris, 88, a lifelong resident of Hackettstown, NJ died on August 14, 2013 in Palm Harbor, FL at the home of his nephew, Hal Huffman. Herman was born in Blairstown, NJ on June 14, 1925 to the late Chester and Bessie (Lanterman) Garris.
Herman was the Head Cashier for the Hackettstown Pool since the town pool was created in the 1970's. . He also was a member of the Movie Theatre Local Union and worked as a screen projector at the former Strand Theatre and Hackettstown Mall Theatre, retiring many years ago.

Tom lived in Long Valley, NJ for 20 years coming from California. He was a Manager with AT & T in Basking Ridge, NJ. He was a member of the American Legion Blue Ridge Post # 164, Hackettstown, NJ; he was an avid movie buff, enjoyed hunting, fishing, football and golf; he loved his family and spending time with his grandson.

Gilbert G. "Gib" Grogan, 75, of Hackettstown, N.J., died on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, N.J..
Born August 24, 1937 in Morristown, N.J., he was the son of the late Leo & Victoria Doncheski Grogan and is predeceased by his brothers, Leo "Red" Grogan and Gerald Grogan.
A lifelong resident of Hackettstown, Gib retired in 1994 as Supervisor from the Pio Costa Sand & Gravel Co., Great Meadows, N.J. and previously worked at Westinghouse and Halecrest where he was instrumental in resuming operations of Iron Ore mining at Mt. Hope Mine in N.J.. After his military service, Gib worked in the family business, Grogan Brothers Welding, Hackettstown, N.J. for several years.
He Proudly served our country in the United States Navy aboard the Destroyer DD556 Haley for 3 years.
Gib was a 50 year member of the Hackettstown Fire Department, Cataract Hose Co, Hackettstown N.J. and was a member of the Exempt Firemans Association.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene M. Nowicki Grogan of Hackettstown. 1 daughter, Kelly Camporini and her husband Al, 2 sons, Patrick Grogan and his wife Wendy. Sean Grogan and Melissa Alford, all three of Hackettstown. 6 loving grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kristin, Adam, Michael, Alexis and Dylan as well as 1 Great Grandson, Brody, the son of Brian and Kristin Wade.

He was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers, Netcong, NJ; he enjoyed spending time with family, most especially his grandchildren; was a roller coaster enthusiast, loved hunting, fishing, scuba diving, horseback riding, playing cards, boating, camping, was a football coach for the Long Valley Raiders and a baseball coach.

Hackettstown, NJ. Claire Chambers Grieve, 91, a resident of Hackettstown, NJ and formerly of Kennebunk, Maine died Tuesday March 26, 2013 at the House of the Good Shepherd after a long illness.
Claire was born in New York City on December 4, 1921 a daughter of Joseph P. and Florence (Kraus) Chambers, was graduated from Wadleigh High School in New York City and the College of Mt. Saint Vincent in Riverdale, New York.
She married to John Grieve in 1948 and was a homemaker for most of her life.
Her faith was an important part if Claire’s life, as such, she was a member of St. Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Hackettstown, NJ, and a former member of the Holy Spirit Parish at St. Martha’s Church of Kennebunk. In her active years, she was a member of Webhannet Club of Kennebunk and the Kennebunk and Kennebunkport Book Clubs.
Claire was predeceased by her husband John Grieve who died in 2008.
Claire is survived by a daughter Eileen Stokes and her husband Robert of Port Murray NJ and three grandchildren R. Christopher Stokes, John Andrew Stokes and Brendan Patrick Stokes.

Christine S. Grabowski, 57, died on March 16, 2013 at her residence in Mansfield Township, NJ. Daughter of the late Steve and Stella (Burczak) Grabowski. Christine was a lifelong resident of the Great Meadows and Hackettstown, NJ area.
She was employed by Weis Markets in Mansfield Township, NJ for many years. She was a parishioner of STS. Peter and Paul R. C. Church, Great Meadows, NJ. Christine loved animals and liked collecting angels.
Surviving are cousins, Carole Skwarek, Blairstown, NJ; Linda Grayson, Long Valley, NJ; Mary Ann Pasko, Great Meadows, NJ; Alan Shimchook, Great Meadows, NJ and many friends throughout the area. Christine was predeceased by her loving sister, Patricia Grabowski several years ago.

Greacen, Barbara E., 72, of Heath Village, Washington Township (Morris Co.), NJ died on February 6, 2013 at Heath Village. Born on March 27, 1940, Barbara was the daughter of the late Edmund, Jr. and Ruth (Nickerson) Greacen.
She was a Clerical worker for the Warner Library, Tarrytown, NY.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Knudsen and her husband Donald, of Bernardsville, NJ and two nephews.
Services and interment are private at the request of the family.
Harriet M. Gober, age 87, of Boynton Beach, FL, formally of Liberty Township, NJ died Monday, January 21, 2013 at Bethesda Memorial Hospice of Boynton Beach, FL. Harriet was born March 8, 1925 in Newark, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Russell and the late Anna (Lay) Evans. She was predeceased by her husband, Late Matthew John Gober on 1996.
She was a laboratory technician at M & M Mars, Hackettstown, NJ retiring many years ago. Harriet was loved by all.
She is survived by a sister, Barbara and her husband Donald Elmer, of Boynton Beach, FL; and a brother -in-law, Roger Robinson; 10 nieces and nephews; 13 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nephews; predeceased by three sisters, Irma Norman, Alice Sohns and Anna Robinson and a brother, Russell Evans, Jr.
A graveside service and burial will be held 11:30 am on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Pequest Union Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Great Meadows, NJ.

Conrad Wayne Gahagan, age 81, of Hackettstown, NJ died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, N.J. Conrad was born January 11, 1932 in Huntingdon, PA. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gahagan. He was predeceased by his wife, (late) Darlene Fay Gearhart Gahagan on May 22, 2005.
He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean war. He was employed by Wackenhut Security and served as a Security Guard at Warner Lambert, Morris Plains, NJ.
Conrad was of the Baptist faith; he spent his childhood in Oklahoma, Texas and Pennsylvania before residing in Dover, NJ. He spent his last year in Hackettstown, NJ.
He is survived by six sons; Curtis Dale Gahagan, Stephen L. Carter, Michael P. Carter, Harold Wayne Gahagan, Conrad Wayne Gahagan, Jr. and Shannon Fern Gahagan; five daughters; Rosemarie D. Stone, Maryellen Bisbing, Colleen Madonna, Cathleen A. McBeth and Shirley Fay Chandler; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. Burial will be in Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Hackettstown, NJ.

Victor J. Green, age 88, of Allamuchy Township, (Panther Valley), NJ died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover, NJ. Victor was born December 2, 1923 in Attleboro,Mass. He is the son of the late Louis and Gertrude (Friedman) Greenberg.
He served in the United States Army during WW II. He was employed by Benedict Nuclear, Golden, CO. as a Vice President; Victor served as a volunteer at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ
He is survived by his wife: Maralyn (Sheahan) Green, at home; a son, Harwood Green of Ringwood, NJ; a sister, Doris Bernice of Hawaii; 5 nieces; 1 nephew; former wife, Shirley Green, of Framingham, Mass; predeceased by 2 brothers, Irving And Norman Greenberg.

Carolyn Letts George, age 74, of Hackettstown, NJ died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Warren Haven Care Center of Oxford, NJ. Carolyn was born August 29, 1938 in Montclair, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Harold and Gladys (Benjamin) Baldwin.
She was employed by Hoffman Floors (formerly known as The Rug Barn), Hackettstown, NJ as a Sales/Designer.
Carolyn was raised in Bloomfield, NJ and moved to Germany with her husband (they were married August 17, 1957) when he went into the service. When they came back to the United States they settled in Dover, NJ and in 1961 moved to Hackettstown, NJ. Carolyn was a member and past Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church of Hackettstown, NJ; she was a Girl Scout Leader in Hackettstown; was a Mahjong enthusiast; she was a seamstress; she enjoyed making cookies during Christmas and enjoyed camping, entertaining and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband: Roger George , daughter Gwenn Bartku, Independence, NJ and two sons Philip George, Broadheadsville, PA and Andrew George, Stanhope, NJ; 7 Grandchildren, Lindsey, Gregory, Rachel, Sarah, Aaron, Alanah, and Audrey ; 5 Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Hazel (Myrick) Gowling, 96, died October 11, 2012 at Heath Village in Hackettstown, New Jersey. Hazel was born in Mobile, Alabama on February 18, 1916, daughter of Ruby Burroughs and John Myrick. She graduated in 1938 from Florida State College for Women with a BS degree in Home Economics. She was a teacher for a short time in Florida. In 1942, she married Lt. Robert Gowling in Pensacola, Florida. After World War II, Hazel and Bob lived in Levittown, New York for 10 years, in Wyckoff, New Jersey for forty years and moved to Heath Village in 1999.
Mrs. Gowling was predeceased by her husband Bob who died in 2002 and by a nephew, John Myrick, in 2009. She was also predeceased by her siblings Helen Gabler, John M. Myrick and Claude J. Myrick. She is survived by her nieces Jane Myrick, Margaret Lehman, Barbara Matthews, Kathryn Myrick, Sandra Myrick and Helen Kincheloe. She is also survived by close family friends, Jane and Russell Reilly, Barbara Hippe, her godchild Patti White and Pamela Hippe.
Hazel was an active member of Church of the Good Shepherd in Midland Park, New Jersey and a regular volunteer gardening participant at Skylands Botanical Gardens in Ringwood, New Jersey. Hazel was also an avid bird and wildlife watcher. She had many friends and will be dearly missed by all.

Phyllis I. Greene, age 87, of Mansfield Township, NJ died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at St. Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ. Phyllis was born May 12, 1925 in England. She is the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Rogers) Ethelston. She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh L. Greene in 1988.
She was a loving and devoted Homemaker. Phyllis lived in Mansfield Township, NJ for 52 years coming from Paterson, NJ.
Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She shared unconditional love. She was the quintessential grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Hugh Greene and Geoffrey & his wife Lisa Greene; two daughters, Norma James and Phyllis Matthews; two sisters, Joyce Northcott and Eileen Ethelston; 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren; three late brothers, Eric, William And Geoffrey Ethelston.

Anastasya Gun, age 80, of Netcong, NJ died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Newton Memorial Hospital of Newton, NJ. Anastasya was born April 1, 1932 in Turkey. She was the daughter of the late Alexei and the Solomonia Ozdil. She was married to Rev. Ilya Gun.
She was employed by Nabisco, in Fairlawn NJ as a Machine Operator.
Anastasya was of the Russian Orthodox Faith. Anastasya was an active member of the Elevation of the Holy Cross Church in Hackettstown NJ. Anastasya held positions in the sisterhood at the church and in the church choir. Also, she was Head of the Sisterhood of the Russian Orthodox Church at St. Michael's in Patterson NJ.
She is survived by her husband: Rev. Ilya Gun, 2 Sons- Ted Gun, of Netcong NJ and Gordon Gun of Lincroft NJ; Sister of Anna Ozdil of Russia; 3 Grandchildren; Alexis, Justina and Lydia Gun.

Peter Gakos, Sr., age 80, of Panther Valley, Allamuchy Twp., Hackettstown, NJ died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Heath Village,Hackettstown, N.J. Peter was born August 30, 1931 in Morristown, NJ. He is the son of the late John and Soteria (Karnicola) Gakos. He was married to Angalikee "Kiki" Antonius on September 11, 1955, who predeceased him in 2009.
He served in the US Army (Corporal) during the the Korean war from 1953 to 1955 with the 728th Military Police Battalion. He was the owner/operator with his wife of the Midway Delicatessen & Liquors, Dover, NJ for 38 years.
Peter was a graduate of Morristown High School, Morristown, NJ and attended Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA for 2 years. He was a parishioner of Good Shepherd R.C. Church, Andover, NJ; member of the Panther Valley Golf Association; a volunteer at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. He was honored to be a 2011 inductee in the HRMC Senior Hall of Fame for his dedicated service; Peter was also a volunteer at the Dover Soup Kitchen.
He is survived by 2 Sons-Nicholas and wife Laura Gakos, Kinnelon, NJ; Peter, Jr. and wife Mary Beth Gakos, Basking Ridge, NJ; 1 Daughter-Teri Gakos Berquist, Berkley Heights, NJ 1 Brother- Sophocles "Bill" Gakos, Madison, NJ; 1 sister in law- Katherine Antonius, Hackettstown, NJ; 6 grandchildren, Phillip, Jeffrey, Cody, Cassandra, Connor And Steven.
